RFQ: SJVLS 24-002: Library Item Barcodes
Purpose
The San Joaquin Valley Library System (SJVLS) is requesting bids for single and double barcode labels.
Background
SJVLS serves the public library systems of Fresno, Kern, Kings, Madera, Merced, Mariposa, and Tulare Counties, and the city/district libraries of Coalinga-Huron, Porterville, and Tulare. In all, SJVLS represents 10 library jurisdictions and 114 individual library locations including large urban, medium city/suburban, and small, isolated rural libraries. Vendor Teleconference Instructions
The Vendor Teleconference will be held on Friday August 25, 2023, at 10:00 a.m.
The teleconference will be held online via Microsoft Teams. Bidders must email Purchasing Agent at christopher.wymer@sjvls.org by 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday August 23, 2023, to receive link and instructions.

*** ADDENDUM 1 ***
On August 24, 2023 SJVLS released addendum 1 to the RFQ that deletes and replaces Exhibit A - Barcode Specifications and Samples. The addendum corrects an error in the requested label size and sheet size. The previous specifications were for SJVLS's older, 10-digit barcodes. The updated specifications are for our current 14-digit barcodes.

On August 29, 2023 SJVLS released addendum 2 to the RFQ providing answers to the written questions received and questions answered during the vendor teleconference.
