Credit card payment problems - Resolved

The problem with the payment processor was resolved just after 10 AM and payments seem to be flowing properly again. Down time was between approximately 5 AM and 10 AM.  The problem did not impact Kern Co. Thank you for your patience.

Incoming mail failure - UPDATE

UPDATE: The hardware failure has been fixed. Incoming mail is being received. It may take some time for all cached messages to be delivered.

We have a hardware failure in one server of the Exchange system, so incoming mail is not being delivered to in boxes.  If replacement parts are available, we should have them this afternoon.  Incoming mail is being spooled for delivery once the server is back online, so no mail should be lost or bounced yet.   Outgoing mail appears to be unaffected.

Horizon upgrade completed

The upgrade of the Horizon library management software is complete, except for restoration of some custom work on ValleyCat. 

SJVLS offices closed Monday, April 1

The SJVLS offices will be closed on Monday, April 1, 2013 in observance of the Cesar Chavez holiday. SJVLS libraries should refer to the After Hours support document for defined evening/weekend/holiday 'emergencies'. Since Fresno County Library is also closed, notify system staff directly if a qualifying situation occurs.
