On Thursday, January 23, we will be applying a patch to the SIP server that supports communication with the main library system for Telephone messaging, SmartPay, 3M Cloud Library and other library services. The work is scheduled between 8:00 AM and 8:15 AM, and will likely only bring the system down for a few minutes.

Access has been restored to the 3M Cloud Library. Patrons can now log into their accounts. Unfortunately, holds that expired during the down time cannot be restored.

The SJVLS change in Internet providers has temporarily cutoff access to the 3M Cloud Library. What that means for library patrons is that they are able to continue reading books they checked out prior to the cut-over. They are not able to log into their patron accounts (which also means they are not able to check-in or out new books) because when they attempt to log in 3M's servers are not able to authenticate against Horizon. We expect 3M to update the information on their servers late on Thursday, 12/19/13.
