Telephone messaging outage Saturday 9/15
Submitted by metyckoson on Wed, 2012-09-19 07:13The telephone messaging system that delivers notices and allows telephone renwals suffered some type of "event" on Friday 9/14 and shut down. It was discovered early Sunday morning and returned to service at approximately 6:30 AM on 9/16. Hold notices that would have been delivered by telephone on Saturday, 9/15 reverted to mail. The current server will be replaced in the next few weeks.

ValleyCat back to normal

ValleyCat issue 8/28
Submitted by metyckoson on Tue, 2012-08-28 08:56The ValleyCat keyword indexes became corrupted this morning. We have tempoarily replaced them with indexes from 8/12/12 while we build new keyword indexes in the background. Titles/item additions and deletions since Sunday the 12th will not be reflected until the rebuild it complete. Due to the size of our database, it takes several hours to build the indexes. We estimate that ValleyCat will be showing current holdings information by 1:30 PM.
